Chief Real Estate Development Officer

As a community land trust, Homestead develops and stewards land and housing that remains affordable for generations and contributes to more resilient, inclusive communities. We are seeking a Chief Real Estate Development Officer to take direct responsibility for advancing that work—leading complex projects, managing risk, and building the systems that allow it to grow. Homestead has a pipeline of nearly 500 homes advancing across construction, predevelopment, and early-stage planning—all focused on permanently affordable housing that benefits communities experiencing or at risk of displacement.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be responsible for advancing development while shaping how this work is carried out across the organization.
